Paragon Micro Chosen as National Technology Partner of World’s Largest Association of Protestant Christian Schools Colorado Springs, Colorado—June 1, 2009—

The Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) announced today that it has named Paragon Micro, of Lake Zurich, Illinois, as National Technology Corporate Partner. Paragon Micro is a leading global provider of top name-brand computing products, software, and advanced information technology (IT) services. Paragon assists companies around the world to enable, manage, and secure their IT environments. After an extensive approval process, Paragon Micro was chosen as ACSI’s preferred technology partner to serve ACSI’s 3,800 U.S. member schools, which have a total student population of about 690,000. Jeff Reimer, president of Paragon Micro, stated that he is “extremely excited to partner with ACSI to bring enterprise-level pricing and service to the small to medium-size private schools. There is a need for these schools to stay on the cutting edge with their technology infrastructure by leveraging their buying power. Paragon Micro has created a system that allows this.”

ACSI’s partnership with Paragon Micro coincides with its signing of the first national Microsoft Education Alliance Agreement (MEAA) in North America. This groundbreaking ASCI MEAA provides highly discounted pricing, educational resources and benefits, and support from Microsoft to all U.S. member schools in conjunction with Microsoft’s partner Paragon Micro. In addition to helping schools access the significant benefits provided through the ACSI MEAA, Paragon Micro will also negotiate pricing with the top technology manufacturers to best serve schools in meeting all their hardware, software, and managed-service needs. According to Tom Dahl, Paragon Micro’s CEO, “Our goal, while reducing schools’ overall IT costs, is to educate ACSI member schools and equip them with the most current and effective technology solutions in order to better prepare students for the future.” Paragon Micro’s account managers have an average of ten years of IT experience; therefore, when engaging with ACSI’s newest corporate partner, ACSI member schools will have access to industry experts.

Now beginning its third year, the ACSI National Corporate Partnership Program is designed to provide carefully chosen companies with turnkey, business-building solutions while simultaneously benefiting member schools. “ACSI has an important role in serving member schools,” states ACSI President Ken Smitherman, “by bringing forward important products and services at the best quality and pricing available.”

Headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado, ACSI (www.acsi.org) is the world’s largest association of Protestant schools. Its mission is to enable Christian schools and educators worldwide to effectively prepare students for life. ACSI leads its 5,300 member schools in about 100 countries to greater effectiveness through a wide variety of services targeted toward school improvement, professional development, and provision of resources for the unique needs of children.
